Renée Zellweger Dating Bradley Cooper – Yay or Nay?!

Renée Zellweger looks so happy these days with new beau, Bradley Cooper. Renée has had a string of unsuccessful relationships (at one point rumored to have dated Paul McCartney??) but I’ve not seen her smile like this for a long time! I am so happy for her =). Their friendship began when they worked on the movie Case 39, due to be released some time this year. Both Bradley and Renée have been very open with their PDA leaving no question that they are more than just friends. After a few months of courtship, it is reported that they are planning to move in together. Bradley was not really in the media radar until Hangover was a big hit at the box office and Jennifer Aniston briefly dated him. Is everyone glad that Bradley chose Renée?

Creative Wedding Proposal Via Telephone

Call me a hopeless romantic but you have to admit that this is one of the most creative ways to propose to the woman you love! A man orchestrates his wedding proposal in a game of Telephone. OMG peeps! The Time Traveler’s Wife trailer is finally available. If you still have not picked up the book, get it now! The movie adaptation will be released on August 14, 2009. Hot Eric Bana and Rachel McAdams play the leading roles. After this release, Rachel will also star in the upcoming Sherlock Holmes movie. Not my type of movie but I enjoy watching Robert Downey Jr.

Did Susan Boyle Win Britain’s Got Talent Competition?

Susan Boyle performed her signature song I Dreamed a Dream on the Britain’s Got Talent finale. Did her performance win the hearts of Britain? Unfortunately, it did not. The pumped up, innovative dance group Diversity blew the British viewers and judges away. Wow! What a performance. Amazing choreography paired with great music selections. My favorite performance, however, is Julian Smith, a music teacher. He gave a very moving performance of Somewhere from West Side Story. Although he finished third, I hope he gets his chance at fame one day. Kenny G, watch out!

Rachel McAdams Stars in The Time Traveler’s Wife

If you are looking for a great book to read over the summer, read The Time Traveler’s Wife by Audrey Niffenegger. The book is about a librarian (Henry) who has a gene that allows him to involuntarily time travel. While he time travels, he would meet his future wife (Claire) from her childhood to adulthood. I read this book about two years ago and I can’t stop raving about it to friends. It is a science fiction and a romantic novel combined in one. I have to say that both men and women will enjoy this book. It gets better! Rachel McAdams and Eric Bana will play the leading roles in the film adaptation!!! OMG. It will be released in theaters this August 14th. I can’t wait to see it!

Susan Boyle Faces Tough Competition: Hollie Steel

Susan Boyle may be facing a tough competitor in this season’s Britain’s Got Talent. Hollie Steel, 10-year-old ballerina girl, has such a glowing presence that you can’t help but fall for her angelic voice. Unlike other stage parents, Steel’s parents actually look normal and are very supportive of her talent. I am not an American Idol fan but I will be keeping eyes out for both performances by Susan Boyle and Hollie Steel. Do you think the British will be swayed by Hollie’s innocent charm or Susan’s Cinderella/Ugly Duckling-to-Swan story?

Sleep Diet to Lose Weight

A recent article in the March issue of Glamour has caught my attention: Lose Weight While you Sleep!. You must think that this is too good to be true, don’t you? Well, this month I will be putting myself to the test! Why not?! I have nothing to lose but pounds. I normally get close to 6.5 to 7 hours of sleep but the sleep experts say that you must get at least 7.5 hours every night. Unfortunately, this doesn’t mean that you’d lose more pounds with more hours of sleep hahaha. Find out your time to hit the pillows by counting 7.5 hours counter-clockwise from the time you normally wake up. For example, if your normal wake-up time is 6 a.m., you’d need to go to bed by 10:30 p.m. If you have trouble going to bed early, start a routine so that your body associates your activity with time for extra ZZZs. For me, I will start by reading a good book. Sweet dreams!

Brits Got Talent Found Their Gem: Susan Boyle

Dreams do come true for Susan Boyle, 47 year-old unemployed woman, a contestant in this season’s Britain’s Got Talent. Susan who lives with her cat claims she has never been kissed – this made me feel so sad =(. She has always wanted to perform in front of a large audience and now her dream has come true. Don’t judge a book by its cover, she is an amazing singer. Here she sings “I Dreamed a Dream” from Les Miserables. Susan’s story reminds me so much of Paul Potts, who won as the finalist on Britain’s Got Talent in 2007. Paul was just an ordinary cell phone salesman but blew away the judges and audience with his operatic voice. His second album, Passione, will be released in the US on May 5, 2009. I wish the same happy ending for Susan.

Drew Barrymore Looking Fabulous on Elle

Drew Barrymore just looks fabulous each time I see her. Last month, she landed on the cover of Marie Claire with Jennifer Aniston and Ginnifer Goodwin to promote “He’s Just Not That Into You” - a chick flick to watch with your girlfriend or boyfriend. Next month in May, you’ll see her again on newsstands featured in Elle. See pictures below. I can’t wait to read it. She is such a happy person but is struggling to find true love. I think it’s just a matter of time when the right guy comes along. Side note: if you haven’t seen “My Date with Drew”, you should rent it. It’s really cute. I recommend watching the Special Features on the DVD.

After the shocking ordeal with her con artist ex-boyfriend (Raffaello Follieri) last year, Anne Hathaway finally looks happy! The Oscar-nominated actress was recently spotted in Hollywood Hills with new boyfriend, Adam Shulman, a 28 year-old actor. They were reported to have met through mutual friends. I don’t have anymore 411 on Adam but a guy who makes you laugh like that is a keeper!
